My daughter and I went to lunch today at Cast Plates and Pints Restaurant on Electric Road. We had heard from a friend that they liked it, so off we went. We thought it was GREAT. She got the Ribeye with mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts. I got the Shrimp and Grits. Fabulous. Her steak was big and so flavorful and mine had a lot of shrimp and was not too spicey. The service was quick, not rushed, and our waitress Ena was terrific! The prices were comparable to other restaurants, and we thought it was worth it for what we got.

We had such a great time at Cast Plates & Pints last night! πβ¨ We hosted one of our Roanoke Valley Midlife Mild Chaos Social Club events there, and everything truly came together. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, the food and drinks were on point, and it made for the perfect spot to gather, laugh, and connect. But letβs talk about the real MVPβ¦Cassidy, she absolutely *made* the night. From the moment we walked in, she was attentive, upbeat, and completely on top of everythingβeven with a lively group like ours. She handled it all with ease, kept the energy fun, and made sure everyone felt taken care of. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it shows. If youβre heading to Cast Plates & Pints, definitely hope you get Cassidyβyouβll be in the best hands. Weβll 100% be back! π»β¨

This restaurant has gotten really really good. The food is better now than it ever has been, and the service is outstanding!! All has improved dramatically over the last couple of years. This restaurant has become a "go to" for us, and is really starting to feel like a community gathering place, which has been really nice. They have an awesome bar! We had a large group event there (20 people!), and the restaurant could not have been more accommodating or more efficient and outstanding with the service AND 20 individual food orders!! All of the orders came out amazingly!! Cassidy was our server, and yes! She handled all 20 of us impeccably and AMAZINGLY!!! We will definitely plan another event there again soon! In the meantime, it will continue to be one of our top go-to bars and restaurants!!

Well the wife picked here to go for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was really nice pretty laid back, which is what we like. Went downhill from there. I will start with the drinks. We ordered the Debbieβs Strawberry lemonade. $12.50 for basically a Strawberry Lemonade because the alcohol was VERY absent. I ordered a MEDIUM Ribeye, $34.00 for the meal plus sides. They were asparagus and steamed broccoli. Well the steak was well done, and my broccoli was truly fresh because it was not anywhere near cooked, it crunched when bit. Now the meal looked really good but wasnβt. As for service well the waitress had something going on and Iβm not going to speculate as to what but needless to say her tip reflected her service. We choose this restaurant over other similar restaurants for our anniversary dinner and was very disappointed.
